Every year, in Italy, thousands of snakes (as well as snakelike Reptiles) are illegally killed.
Knowing more about this phenomenon could help the conservationists to elaborate the right strategies to face the problem.
If you are in Italy and find a killed snake, legless lizard or skink please send an email to the address “salvaserpenti@gmail.com” attaching the following material:
- 2 pictures of the specimen (one of the head, one of the full body) in a good resolution
- The geographic coordinates of the place of the finding
- The date of the finding
- Name and surname of the data collector
