Trekking in the Monti Picentini Regional Park, to discover its fauna.
Along a path between beech woods and pristine streams, we will reach the top of Punta di Tormine, where we will enjoy an overall view of the main peaks of the Picentini mountains.
We will also have the opportunity to know the ancient custom of extraction of ichthyol, an ointment obtained from the processing of ancient organic remains, following in the footsteps of Oronzo Costa, zoologist of the Kingdom of Naples, who first honored the wealth of fossils of marine animals enclosed in these mountains.
