Excursion in the heart of Picentini Regional Park, discovering the high valley of the river Saturday and the incredible biodiversity that it holds.
Accompanied by a biologist and wildlife photographer, we will hike through valleys and woods, along a path that interest waterfalls and other natural rocky sculptures. The natural integrity of these habitats offers a high possibility of meeting peculiar species from an ecological and conservation point of view, which, together with the beauty of the scenarios explored, make this excursion a real didactic one.
In fact, the guide, in addition to helping us in the identification and characterization of the species encountered, will introduce some principles of nature photography, which will be directly applied in the field.
Equipment required: hiking boots, backpack, at least 1.5 liters of water, suitable and waterproof clothing,.
Recommended equipment: camera, trekking poles and spare socks (possibility of getting your feet wet during some fords).
